آثار امیرنصر به رغم پیچیدگی و درهم تنیدگی عناصر تصویری، همچون مصور سازی‌های علمی در پی تشریح و تنویر است. از دل اغتشاش و سرهم‌سازی تصاویر، او راه خلوص را در جریانی خلاف ساختار طی می‌کند. در فرآیند تولید صنعتی، رسیدن به خلوص ماده را می‌جوید. در درهم پیچیدگی موتیف‌های مکانیکی، طبیعی و تخیلی‌‌اش، او حرکتی را درجهت مخالف برای رسیدن به بُن و ریشه‌‌های طبیعی شکل می‌دهد و می‌‌آزماید. حرکت از سمت مکانیسم یکپارچه، هماهنگ و منظم صنعتی به سمت ارگانیسم چند پاره، غیرهماهنگ و نامنظم طبیعی. در شیوه‌‌ی او تصویر و فرآیند تولید آن به یک اندازه ارزش دارند. در واقع آنچه دیده می‌شود نه همه‌‌ی مقصود او که نیمی از آن و در واقع ردّی از آن است.
امیرنصر در آثارش به رغم جذابیت و اغواگری جالب توجه و پیچیدگی‌های تصویری، کشف یا انتقال پیامی معین و قاطع را به عنوان هدف نشانه نمی‌رود. بلکه راهی پر پیچ و خم برای سفر به درون، فراموشی برای یادآوری اصل و اساس پیش می‌گذارد. نسیان او در دل روش‌ها و مواد صنعتی به غیر صنعتی کردن می‌کوشد. از هندسه‌‌ی مکانیکی به سمت هندسه طبیعی حرکت می‌کند و تقارن‌های مهندسی شده‌‌ی قطعات ذهن را با گسترده سازی از هم باز می‌کند ومرزهای ساختمانی آن‌ها را بهم می‌ریزد.

In spite of their intricacy and interwoven quality, Amir-Nasr’s works, similar to scientific illustrations, seek to illuminate and elucidate. Through disorder and collages, he makes his way to purity in a counter-intuitive fashion. He is searching for the purity of material through an industrial procedure. In the interwoven mechanical, natural, and imaginary motifs, he experiments with a movement in the opposite direction towards the natural roots. The movement from a monolithic, harmonious, orderly mechanism to a fragmented, discordant, disorderly organism. In his approach, the image and the process of making the image have the same value. In fact, what comes into view is not all, but half of it, and indeed, a trace of it. 
Despite the works’ fascinating and appealing quality, as well as their visual complexity, Amir-Nasr does not aim at a definitive and decisive revelation; or conveying a message. Rather, he takes a twisted path to the inside, to forget, in order to remember the fountainhead. His oblivion tries to de-industrialize the heart of methods and industrial materials. It moves from mechanical geometry to natural geometry, taking apart the engineered symmetries of the pieces of the mind, throwing their construction borders into disarray.

Amirnasr Kamgooyan was born in Tehran in 1982, and is a graduate of Graphic design from Shiraz Soureh University. Through a lengthy process of engraving and etching, he convoys his drawings on different mediums of paper, steel and lately rubber. His fascination with transferring images from one medium to the next one, which happens  by juxtaposition of mechanical and natural elements, he creates highly intricate and playful imagery. Present day apprehensions, over the fate of planet and environmental and ecological disasters that are the result of abuse of technology, are among his chief concerns.
