Sharifan was born in Tehran, Iran. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Architecture from the Faculty of Art and Architecture, Islamic Azad University, West Tehran Branch, where he was honored as the top student in 2015.

Biography
Amirhossein Sharifan (b. 1990, Iran) is a visual artist whose practice centers on abstract calligraphy and contemporary expressions of Persian script. With a background in architecture, he approaches form, rhythm, and space with a structural sensitivity that informs his artistic process. His works explore the intersection of language, emotion, and abstraction transforming words into visual experiences that transcend literal meaning. Sharifan has participated in several exhibitions as an Artist and curatoe , and his works have been collected by private collectors in Iran and abroad. Through his art, he seeks to create a dialogue between tradition and modernity, offering a poetic interpretation of existence and the human condition.

Sharifan’s work integrates traditional elements of Islamic art with modern abstract expression. His Amrdad style explores the spiritual and psychological layers of calligraphy and reflects his architectural background. His projects often aim to bridge the gap between art, architecture, and psychology, especially in educational and therapeutic contexts.
