Navid Nuur’s practice explores the human relationship to our universe and natural world. Using experimental methods he examines the potential of ideas to be manifested through various materials. In the past he has worked with substances such as lead or smelted bronze, studying the alchemical transformation of solid matter into liquid, and the potential of materials in flux to be moulded into something else.
