Behnaz is Iranian- American and a professional artist living in Copenhagen with her danish family. Her work can be described as realistic with a touch of allegory and surrealism. She is a biologist by education and finds the art of depiction of everything living and interconnecting very rewarding. Having lived in six different countries, Behnaz’s work mainly focuses on the questions of identity, sense of belonging, life, culture and herritage.
