Biography
Mir Mohammadreza Heydari is an artist, researcher, and writer working in the fields of video art, performance, and media-based practices.
His artistic practice explores the relationship between body, image, power, and institutional structures, often through unstable narratives, performative interventions, and hybrid media forms. His works frequently challenge established modes of display and spectatorship.
Alongside his artistic practice, Heydari is active as a researcher and has published several authored and translated books on the history of theatre, performance, and media. His artistic and theoretical works remain in continuous dialogue, with many projects grounded in research-based approaches.
