It seems that the first absolute democratic institution is fetal life which all the human beings experience it almost equally and perhaps the last one is death which is not still escapable. Fetal utopia is just a beautiful imagination that leads to its opposite which is a scary and lawful world without any fascination and dream, condemned to accept countless technologies and controlling algorithms of that world called dystopia. The facial expressions seen in the images are the perception of the persistent attacks of that dystopia, which disrupt the sweet dreams of a fetus in a not so distant island.
The present collection is trying to describe the human prenatal perceptions. Since the images are recorded instantly by available imaging devices and without any direct access to the subjects, therefore the photographic rules are not necessarily performed. This collection is based on nearly thousand fetal images which are captured during a year.
