Statement

This series is a tribute to Robert Adams
The present photographic project is an exercise based on Robert Adams’ series: Summer Nights, Walking. Robert Adams series has kept distance from the viewpoints in these developments, since it is a brilliant, independent series that he took from a newly established residential complex in a Colorado suburb. The complex was supposed to be a new heaven, but it did not work and, recollecting Adams’ perpetual idea of photography of nature as unaltered by man, “eventually led to the decline of local nature, rather than a heaven for the inhabitants. this decline has been a constant theme in my work, i.e. the man’s impact on their surrounding and the deterioration they have imposed on themselves and on nature. A classical statue with its distant historical characteristics, the famous mutilated “Venus de milo.”  The symbolic statue, as is manifest , has turned into my toy to play the role of despair as well as exhibit the decline that time has imposed on it (considering it as an embodiment of the Greek goddess and not as a work of art, it serves only as a set of symbols and as a member of Greek pantheon.in our time it does nothing but to decorate something ,let alone being art.) the sculpture was an instrument in my hand to emphasize decline and despair ,and adding it to the process of exercise gave me the opportunity to break away from a sheer example.
