;
I usually start painting with a simple arrangement around me. A vase, a window, and some fruits. This initial encounter with objects gradually transformed with the presence of something that had a great appeal to me from the past.
The "mirror" seemed strange to me since childhood, as if people and objects were displaying their other side in it. Sometimes I thought that there was another life beyond the mirror. Sometimes with a slight tilt, the ceiling hung from the middle of the wall and the lights and shadows danced in the presence of this object. Now these past feelings have returned with the entrance of the mirror into my arrangement and have drawn me into an endless journey. From this small window, which sometimes has a broken mirror or a little ripple, a new world of form and color appears to me, which, combined with the space around me, opens up a way for further exploration for me to ponder.
In this collection, I have presented my initial efforts in combining real space and virtual reflections of objects - sometimes mixed with a touch of imagination. Perhaps I can find my way better from the feedback of my work in the viewer's mind and not get lost in this search.
