Statement

Amir Sanjabi has been painting for more than twenty years, and most of this time he has been working on abstract painting. His abstract paintings, especially in recent years, have displayed considerable intensity and performance power, and have distinguished him among the contemporary abstract painters of Iran. His previous works and still on large surfaces - were done by directing and flowing fluid colors and bending and straightening the flexible canvas - in the manner of Paul Jenkins and in his successive exhibitions, he became more skillful and colorful each time.

The works of his recent exhibition, more coherent and full of content than the past, have marked different horizons, which reach new spaces with thick and thick colors and stretched horizontal tones. These spaces, with contrasting and pre-decided and less random colors, evoke a familiar landscape of clouds, sky and earth, without directly referring to anything from the surrounding nature, and at the end, bright and colorful collections. they display; Paintings full of sense, harmony and adventure, which are executed with strength and power, and show the special importance of being easy and restrained in abstract work, and point to the limits and unlimited possibilities of art, which is one of the purest achievements of our last century.
