We do not exactly know whether we are in this world or the world is within us, by creating a beautiful inner world, we can become the creators of the best in our outer world. Shirin Moayya’s art creates a world that is both highly personal and full of contradictions and interactions that both reflect the artist’s inner feelings and allow us to see ourselves in it.

The aesthetics of Shirin’s paintings are defined by contrast. Multiple layers of color, materials, and shapes convey this feeling, as if these contrasts are constantly repeating in irregular cycles, covering each other layer by layer. It is here that a window to the artist's inner world opens, and through her reaction to the external, we are given a glimpse into it. In these works, we can see the artist's reaction to events around her, from the smallest daily matters to the largest social issues.
