The presentation of Ali Chitsaz’s major and minor works reflects his humorous, critical, and deeply emotional perspective on both Western and Iranian societies during the years he spent living in Iran. Pieces such as Three Idiots - 3 Kalepook, A Thinker’s Pastime, Come to my hug, uncle (Bia Baghal Amo), Uncle, and Marilyn Monroe in Stable exemplify his bold and distinctive visual language. Now, after over a decade of living abroad, studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and exhibiting in numerous prestigious international venues, Chitsaz seeks to reconnect with his cultural roots. This exhibition offers a chance to reintroduce his work to a new generation of audiences, while revisiting the legacy he established during his years in Iran
