The collection on display is an attempt for Samira Karbalaei to better understand her own experiences in painting. Although both of her previous collections were as well formed without the presence of color, in this collection, the understanding of space, the importance of structure, and finally the geometry behind the image, has been the main challenge for the artist. Adding multiple layers in the image was based on the use of a variety of gray and in general, what has been achieved has made her more courageous in interfering with the image and opened the door to the recognition and development of image possibilities. Currently the main issue in Karbalaei's painting, is the struggle and challenge to further understand the "visual language".
