Humankinds, due to their connection to nature, have had a great influence in the manner in which it changes and consider it their most important safe haven. At the same time nature reminds us of the important meanings of life: birth, being and not being. The humans in my paintings both rise up from nature and are at the same time being dissolved in it.

For one who has recognized their most important safe haven, the fear of being dissolved by nature, not only fades away, but is transformed into their own desire.
