With the vision of promoting and supporting young artists, exhibiting masterpieces and improving the art economy, Vali gallery was founded by Mozgan Valipour in 1992. Soon after foundation, by holding various exhibitions and promoting diverse group of Iranian artists, Vali gallery established it's role in Iranian art. Since then, many famous artists were introduced to the Iranian market by this gallery. 

Creating and promoting national and large scale art projects have been one of Vali gallery top priorities. Good examples of such projects can be listed as: Foundation of Mah-e-Mehr cultural institute, Haft Negah annual art sale and Tehran auction. Also, for the purpose of promoting Iranian art in the international market, Vali gallery has been an active participant in numerous international events such as christie's and sotheby's auctions
