Noushin Abtahi is an Iranian illustrator, soft sculptor, and children’s art educator, born in the summer of 1979 in Tehran. She holds an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration, and a Master’s degree in Art Research.
Her artistic journey began in childhood, inspired by the women in her family—her mother, grandmother, and aunt—who stitched vibrant patterns not on paper, but with needle and thread onto clothes, blankets, and small decorative pieces. Their quiet yet constant creativity profoundly shaped her early visual language, which soon found its expression in drawing and sewing.
