Homayoun Sirizi: Battle of the Tables
You are invited to attend the opening of Homayoun Sirizi’s (Kerman, 1981) solo exhibition at Ag Galerie titled “Battle of the Tables” on Friday January 31, 2020 from 12:00 to 21:00.
Between 1968 and 1973, all the sides of the long and ruinous Vietnam War wanted nothing more but to reach a “peace with honor”. However, their goal was to first determine the “shape of the table”. The table at which the longest war of the 20th century was to reach its truce, had itself turned into a battleground which came to be known as the Battle of the Tables. Now, on the anniversary of the Paris Peace Accords and the agreement over the shape of that table, the documents of this battle will be reexamined as “all the options which are on the table” at Ag Galerie.
This exhibition will be held at our Pesyan location and will continue through Friday February 7, 2020.
