The first command

Given from far away, from the farthest ends of the world... from eternity...

Thou Lilith!

When thou ascend, thou shall enter an abode,

Into which there shall be no gates.

Thither stand four walls, on which a thousand openings

With eternal views to the whole being.

The feast shall be prepared; desires shall be satisfied.

A short distance so Longley taken! As ephemeral as existence, peradventure!

Like eternity!
