In this collection, I strive to immortalize the object in decay. As more decay unfolds around me, I respond to this decline as if carrying the weight of several thousand years of collective memory. To me, trees represent bodies that can vanish gradually or abruptly, making room for towers and skyscrapers. They're bodies that once held hopes of immortality before their demise. Perhaps one must traverse the daunting world of decay to attain immortality.
