The two works on display here are being shown to the public for the first time and are amongst the artist's latest creations. The idea of using aluminium and sand at the same time came about in the months which he was simultaneously producing new sand works on canvas and some geometric reliefs. See- ing the play of reflections given by the sand on the aluminium sheets, he also produced some works in which the base was not coloured but mirror-like.
