Kairos

In Ancient Greek mythology, Kairos is known as the god of the 'fleeting moment', symbolizing opportunity and the right time. Over the past few years, the value of this qualitative concept of time has taken on deeper significance for me as I face the abundance of news, human relationships, and the realities of death. The abstract spaces of my paintings and the images I try to create serve as attempts to capture how moments can vary in value and meaning - moments of life that I treasure.
