An adornment, often a cluster of blossoms arranged upon a single plane. Motifs, colors, and forms draw upon this very name, appearing in carpets and especially in textiles. At times, they face us directly, in sanctuaries, in shrines, and within their enclosures. These motifs and ornaments, sometimes architectural, become part of our surroundings. They are woven Into the spaces around us, at times adorning our bodies.
Elsewhere, they can be found offering repose to the physical form. Themes emerge close to us, embedded in the objects and
spaces we inhabit. There is always space for reverie. No need to search fan as we draw inward, we move closer to ourselves. Beliefs manifest through tradition, some passed down from from distant generations, others shaped by more recent memory. yet all as enduring as history itself.
