In addition to the euphoria they bring to a country’s art scene, art weeks hold the potential to bring to the fore forgotten or unseen spaces and geographies. In the context of Teer Art week, I attempted to shine a light on a very specific space in Tehran. Located in Amir Abad Street, the Safavi Grand Book Bazaar is one of the oldest secondary markets for books. The multifunctional essence of this place made me chose it as the venue to exhibit
