سهراب معتبر (1363 – تهران)

فعالیت موسیقی خود را با نواختن گیتار الکتریک و باس در گروه های محلی تهران آغاز کرد. در سال ۱۳۸۲ وارد کنسرواتوار تهران شد و در رشته گیتار جاز شروع به تحصیل نمود. در سال سوم علاقه خود را در رشته آهنگسازی یافت. به مرور علاقه‌اش به موسیقی معاصر و موسیقی الکترونیک باعث شد که بار دیگر به درس خواندن این بار در هلند بپردازد. در این مدت به کشف دنیای موسیقی کامپیوتر پرداخت. موسیقی وی در این دوران با مباحث ریاضی و متدهای مختلف سنتز صدا هم در فرم فیکس و هم در اجرای زنده سروکار دارد. در سال ۱۳۹۳ از کنسرواتوار سلطنتی لاهه فارق‌التحصیل شد و در همان جا به تحصیل در مقطع فوق‌لیسانس مشغول گشت. در سال اخیر اجراهای متعددی در هلند، آلمان و تهران داشته است.

Sohrab Motabar (1984 – Tehran)
He started his carrier by playing Electric Guitar and Bass in Iranian local rock bands. In 2002 he entered Tehran conservatory to study jazz guitar, but in third year he found his interest in composition.
Gradually he got interested in western contemporary music and electronic music, following his passion he went to Netherlands to study once again. During this time he started to explore the world of computer music specifically. During this time his works mostly deal with mathematical concepts and digital sound synthesis methods both are fixed-media compositions and live performances.
He graduated from Royal Conservatory of the Hague at 2014 and currently studying at Institute of Sonology in master program. He recently had many performances in Tehran, Berlin and The Hague.

رخداد های شنیداری مجموعه‌ای است که به همت کارگاه نوفه و همراهی گالری راه ابریشم جهت معرفی هنرمندان حوزه sound art بوجود آمده است.این مجموعه که به انتخاب صبا علیزاده گرد هم آمده است،  فضایی بین هنرهای تجسمی و هنر صدا را در بر می گیرد چرا که برخورد اکثر این هنرمندان با صدا به صورت ابژکتیو است. با صداهایی که آنهاپیرامون خود پیدا کرده، ضبط کرده و یا ساخته اند به مانند یک مجسمه ساز برخورد می کنند. گاهی با جزئیات کلیتی را خلق می کنند و گاهی از یک کلیت جزئی را فاش می کنند. 
فعالیت هاى کارگاه نوفه از سال ۱۳۹۴ زیر نظر صبا علیزاده به عنوان کیوریتور این مجموعه، در زمینه های کلاس های آموزشی، برگزاری رخدادهای پژوهشی و اجراهای مرتبط به حوزه هنر شروع شد.

“Aural EVENTS” series are going to be a collaboration between Noise Works (Kargah Noufeh) and Silk Road Gallery for introducing artists that utilize sound as their material.

The works of the selected artists in this series fall in the overlap zone between visual and aural arts since their approach to sound is more of an objective one. They find record and also create sounds from scratch. They create in the same fashion as a sculptor, either reductive or additive.
Noise Works was established by Saba Alizadeh in 2014. He is also the curator of the series.  The platform holds classes, workshops, promotes experimental events, research, and performances in the field of sound art and experimental music
